lynnrin Native ROM Installation Guide#
❗ Precautions:
Before proceeding with the operation, please read the entire tutorial carefully to avoid operational errors.
It is recommended to use TWRP for ROM flashing.
After the ROM flashing is completed, please restart and enter Recovery before flashing Magisk, GApps, and other plugins.
Please make sure that other partitions have content before flashing the ROM. If unsure, be sure to flash the partition copy package for partition copying.
After unlocking the bootloader, Motorola phones will lose their warranty eligibility. I am not responsible for any hardware damage caused by flashing.
Please refer to the Lineage Wiki Motorola Edge 30 flashing steps for detailed flashing operations.
Required Materials:#
- A Motorola Edge X30 phone with unlocked bootloader.
- Downloaded native ROM, recovery.img, and vendor_boot.img files for installation.
- A data cable that supports data transfer.
- Reliable international internet connection.
Flashing Chinese firmware#
Need to flash the original factory firmware first

Unzip:
Tiny-Fastboot-Script_v1.9.2_CN_by_AlphaEva.zip- Original factory firmware
XT2201-2_HIPHIC_RETCN_12_S3SC32.7-42-20_subsidy-DEFAULT_regulatory-DEFAULT_CFC.xml.zip

Put the extracted
XT2201-2_HIPHIC_RETCN_12_S3SC32.7-42-20_subsidy-DEFAULT_regulatory-DEFAULT_CFC.xml.zipinto the extractedTiny-Fastbootfolder. -
Open
flash.batand enter [5] to flash the device with complete firmware [flash all images included in the flash package and restore factory settings].
- After flashing is completed, use the custom flashing function:
[n] DIY flashing (none of them are what I want, I want to execute commands manually)
[2] Flash a specific partition
Need to flash partition names:
vendor_boot
recovery
Enter RECOVERY mode#
At this time, operate the phone's volume keys to adjust to display
RECOVERY MODE
- Press the power button to confirm restarting and enter PE Recovery.
- Apply update > Apply from ADB
adb sideload copy-partitions-20220613-signed.zip
It will stop at 47%, which is normal.
- Advanced > Reboot to recovery
- Apply update > Apply from ADB
adb sideload hiphic-ota-TQ1A.230205.002-20230219-Lynnrin2.zip
If it fails, retry steps 2-4.
MyUI 5.0 Mexico#
How to install MyUI in Mexico and unlock BL
Prerequisites
- Unlock BL
- Download Motorola driver
- Chinese system XT2201-2_HIPHIC_RETCN_12_S3SC32.7-42-20.
- MyUI international version system package (Mexico) HIPHI_G_T1SH33.35-23-20_subsidy-DEFAULT_regulatory-DEFAULT_cid50_CFC.xml.zip

Extract the Chinese system into TinyFastboot and make a copy of TinyFastboot. Repeat the same operation for the international version system package.

In the Chinese system, click flash.bat

Select fastboot version 29.0.6

Restart the phone in Fastboot mode and enter "5" to flash the complete firmware (including all images) and restore factory settings.

Flash the Mexico system package

Select fastboot version 29.0.6

[1] Flash basic AP (system part) [boot + recovery + super / system ...]

[6] Restore factory settings [clear Data + Cache ...]

[5] Flash complete firmware [flash all images included in the flash package and restore factory settings]
Disable case display#
- After booting, select "Operate in offline mode"
Do not turn off the screen after entering the desktop
Enter the "Moto" app > click the top left button
Click "Display" and turn off "Case display"
⛔ If you don't turn it off, the screen will go black after the screen is turned off and you won't be able to enter the desktop. You can only force restart.
